Both of these images display a common fault we’re regularly fixing during our lessons. The first picture shows excessive spine tilt at address and while we encourage a small amount, too much will move the bottom of your swing back behind the ball, causing a fat or even a top. The second image displays a player who has tried to help the ball up with an arm-led action with little rotation, which often results in hitting too much on the up and the ball coming off the bottom of the face.

There can be many other causes of shorter drives, so the best way to guarantee results is to invest in a lesson with one of the team.
