Before you start Add your name, the date, the competition name and tick the tee you are playing from. You’ll also need to enter your handicap, the strokes you are receiving and then swap cards with your playing partners. During your round As you play you need to write down your playing partner’s gross score for each hole, as well as your own gross score in the marker's column. It’s also good practice to fill in the nett score box. To do this, the score stays the same on holes where a player doesn’t get a handicap shot. When they do get a shot, simply take one away from the gross score, or take two away if they get two shots on a hole. At the end When you’re finished add up the gross scores for each nine and work out the total. Then subtract the player’s handicap from that number to work out the final nett score, before signing and exchanging cards. |
