Hi everyone and welcome to this week's newsletter.
This Saturday will tee off our golfing season with the Captains Drive In. There is a good forecast and we have had a healthy entry into the event.
I am sure you will all join me in wishing our Captains, Diane and Martin, a successful year ahead, although I suspect their main concern at the minute is their drives from the first tee on Saturday. It is important they understand that there is no pressure on them what-so-ever, although it should be pointed out the their immediate predecessors, Oonagh and Eugene both hit wonderful tee shots on New Years Eve and that was in the DARK! Sorry, no pressure!
In my recent newsletters I ran a survey to see if Brand, Price or Fit were the most important factors when buying equipment. I had a good response to the survey and many of you may already be aware that FIT was deemed the most important factor when buying so the price of all the clubs in the shop is going up 50%...only joking.
Many congratulations to the winner of the survey who was Norman Weir, seen receiving his dozen Srixon AD333 balls from myself in the picture. In relation to this survey I am currently arranging fitting days at Killymoon with all the top manufacturers. I presently only have a date for the Callaway day which is the 13th May but I will keep you all informed concerning future dates.
Through my newsletter and website I will be keeping you informed of numerous retail offers as well as useful instructional information and if you know of any friends whom you feel may be interested in any of these feel free to forward them a copy and encourage them to subscribe. They do not have to be members of Killymoon or any club for that matter, just 'love of golf' required.
