Welcome everyone to this week’s newsletter.
First on the agenda is a warning! I am off duty this weekend and weather permitting I may appear on a tee near you. Never let it be said you were not warned.
I am pleased to inform you all that as of Wednesday past I have secured May 2nd as the date of the TaylorMade fitting day. This fitting day will operate the same as all the other fitting days whereby you pay £20 for the fitting and this is deducted from the price of any clubs ordered as a direct result of the fitting. To secure a fitting slot please click here
The dates for fitting days are as follows:
- Cobra – 14th April
- Titleist – 28th April
- TaylorMade – 2nd May
- Callaway – 13th May
The Cobra fitting day on the 14th April is almost completely booked and I would urge anyone hesitating over booking their appointment not to delay too long.
I have taken delivery this week of Nike shoes and clothing as well as a selection of adidas shoes. All are on display in the shop and are well worth a look.
I also have a few sets of Nike Slingshot irons (including 1 hybrid club per set) at the unbeatable price of £279
A little humour to finish:
Four gentlemen came in to the pro-shop after their round to see me.
I casually asked they “Did you gentlemen have a good game today”
The first guy said, “Yes, I had 3 riders today.”
The second guy said, “I had the most riders ever. I had 5.”
The third guy said, “I had 7 riders, the same as last time.”
The last guy said, “I beat my old record. I had 12 riders today.”
After they all left the shop another member who was in the shop listening, came up to me and said, “I’ve been playing golf a long time and I thought I knew all the terminology of the game, but what is a rider?”
I informed him, “A rider is when you hit the ball far enough to actually get in the golf cart and ride to it.”
Take care all, and remember, I may see some of you on the 1st tee at the weekend!
